PLACE A DEMAND
“26. But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs. 27. And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.” (Matthew 15: 26-27)
That is the Focal Scripture of Streams of Joy Devotional today.
In our Focal Scripture, Jesus replied the woman of Canaan by saying that He would not take the children's bread and cast same to dogs. Jesus simply inferred that what that woman wanted was meant for children, and could not be given to ‘dogs'. Notice that the woman insisted that dogs have a share from crumbs that fall from their master's table. She insisted that she has a portion. She demanded to be included in heaven's release.
Friend, place a demand for heaven to include you in the list of those to be favoured. Place a demand for heaven to choose you as others are also being chosen. Place a demand for your chapters of greatness to be opened. Place a demand for the doors of your congratulations to be opened to you. Place a demand for the miracles you have seen in the lives of those around you. Place a demand for your own share.
