سلاحك هو المحبة
ورأيت السماوات مفتوحة،
ونسر خارج من السماء
ونزل على قلب أفريقيا
وبينما الرياح الناتجة عن جناحيه تهب على الأرض
كانت تقضي على الجفاف، والمجاعة، والجوع، والمرض، والعطش
وعندما نزل النسر على القلب
ازدادت رفرفة أجنحته
وهبت رياح الروح (الروح القدس) على الأرض
في هذه اللحظة طار النسر
وفي مكانه قام الأسد
وكان عندما يقوم الأسد،
كانت أفريقيا تقوم
أفريقيا تنهض
أفريقيا ترتفع
وهذا ما يقوله الله
سمعتم انه قيل تحب قريبك وتبغض عدوك.
لكِنِّي أَقُولُ لَكُمْ أَيُّهَا السَّامِعُونَ
أَحِبُّوا أَعْدَاءَكُمْ،
أَحْسِنُوا إِلَى مُبْغِضِيكُمْ
بَارِكُوا لاَعِنِيكُمْ،
وَصَلُّوا لأَجْلِ الَّذِينَ يُسِيئُونَ إِلَيْكُمْ وَيَطْرُدُونَكُمْ
لِكَيْ تَكُونُوا أَبْنَاءَ أَبِيكُمُ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ،
هو لطيف مع الجميع
فَإِنَّهُ يُشْرِقُ شَمْسَهُ عَلَى الأَشْرَارِ وَالصَّالِحِينَ،
وَيُمْطِرُ عَلَى الأَبْرَارِ وَالظَّالِمِينَ
لأَنَّهُ إِنْ أَحْبَبْتُمُ الَّذِينَ يُحِبُّونَكُمْ، فَأَيُّ أَجْرٍ لَكُمْ؟
أَلَيْسَ الْعَشَّارُونَ أَيْضًا يَفْعَلُونَ ذلِكَ
وَإِنْ سَلَّمْتُمْ عَلَى إِخْوَتِكُمْ فَقَطْ، فَأَيَّ فَضْل تَصْنَعُونَ؟
أَلَيْسَ (الْخطاة) أَيْضًا يَفْعَلُونَ هكَذَا؟
فَكُونُوا أَنْتُمْ كَامِلِينَ كَمَا أَنَّ أَبَاكُمُ الَّذِي فِي السَّمَاوَاتِ هُوَ كَامِلٌ.
لذا يا أفريقيا، سلاحك هو المحبة
