Picture finding tranquility in a chaotic world, a sanctuary where serenity reigns even in turmoil. Inner peace during life’s storms is achievable, and the pathway to hope amidst corruption lies in embracing Christ.
The interesting part is God’s vision of hope provides a believer with an eternal future. Yes, an infinite existence freed from sin and full of His love. And a place where Christ lives and the angels sing songs of praise.
The Bible is full of God’s hope. Both the Old and New Testaments give evidence to His hopeful plan. In fact, God never stopped loving humanity, and when Adam and Eve fell from His grace, He gave them hope by offering them a choice through repentance (Genesis 3:22).
When God called on Moses to defeat Pharaoh, it gave the Israelites hope. It put an end to their slavery and propelled them into His grace. Even after their freedom and turned away from the Lord, He continued using prophets to show His unwavering hope for faithful believers.
Colossians 1:27 in the Bible reads: “To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.”
The moment our Father delivered Christ into the world His new plan for hope emerged. God’s new blueprint for life beyond the flesh places Jesus as the centerpiece and where the Holy Spirit secures our eternal future. In fact, this Trinity is an unshakable foundation protecting us from God’s enemy.
Remember, Christ paid the price for our hope when He accepted His death, resurrection, and ascension into heaven. This is where God showed humanity His real love by sacrificing His Son for salvation. How awesome is that?
Faith coupled with trust is hope.
Romans 8:24 in the Bible says: “For in this hope we were saved. But hope that is seen is no hope at all. Who hopes for what they already have?”
By placing faith in Christ and trusting Him with God’s plan, it takes our focus off the cruelty of the world. In reality, this allows us to live in the Spirit of Truth. Being surrounded by wickedness is troubling, but our Christian hope anchors us in God’s strength providing us the courage to live holy.
Here’s something we both can agree on is through devotion to Christ our lives become richer in God’s Spirit. Nothing else matches the hope God brings. So, when you find yourself disturbed over the evil events the world displays, turn to Christ and embrace salvation.

1 Peter 3:15 reads: “But in your hearts revere Christ as Lord. Always be prepared to give an answer to everyone who asks you to give the reason for the hope that you have. But do this with gentleness and respect,”
